I was skeptical at first of S&Box, because how do you make a successor to Garry’s Mod when it has DECADES worth of community content and tools already made But S&Box does feel more like an actual game creator engine, like Roblox. The fact you can even publish and monetize on Steam is HUGE Gmod is cool, but it’s undoubtedly a very old engine with tons of limitations These games entirely hinge on the community of course, which needs time to simmer. I think in the long haul, S&Box will be a fantastic hub for people, both creators and players

While I’ve had one since launch in November, the AYN Thor dual screen handheld has taken over social media and the market as the best current portable emulator. Mostly for nostalgia DS reasons. (Cocoon Front End is the way to go for your emu library after you set everything up) What’s more impressive lately is beefy Android devices can run a lot of lighter Steam/Epic games, etc directly on it using an app called Game Native (which I’ve found is a lot easier to use than GameHub). Basically fully installs the games and the compatibility continues to improve across the board. Downloaded a ton of my Steam Library to test out on this flight. Really want to find time to dive back into YouTubing this kind of stuff being a handheld lover but for now this definitely is the current king if you can find one at retail price online. Also using a grip from Etsy that can store the stylus for my big hands. Makes gaming on it a lot easier for longer sessions.
