I’ve learned you can’t really argue with hardcore MAGA anymore. A lot of them would rather double down and be wrong forever than admit a “liberal” was right about something. They have to personally experience the implosion before it clicks. It reminds me of Trust Me: The False Prophet. Even after he got arrested, people still defended him. It wasn’t until they caught him lying with their own eyes, without anyone pointing it out for them, that they finally snapped out of it. That’s what makes it so frustrating for people watching this in real time. Some of this stuff is so painfully obvious you just wanna grab them by the shoulders and yell “what the actual fuck is wrong with you, wake up already.”
