Radical idea: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or press; or the right of the people to peaceably assemble & to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Ant Middleton's replies are a support group for racists too cowardly to admit what they are. I don't understand how people can believe so passionately in something but refuse to own it.

Dame Andrea Jenkyns is perfectly qualified to be Reform's debutante mayor. First she got caught shagging married dad of 3 and Tory MP Jack Lopresti, ending his marriage. Then, in 2019, she was caught taking a 25k salary for a job that didn't exist. Nice one Lincolnshire 👍

A second child, identified as Daisy, has died from measles in Texas, with her father expressing no regrets over her lack of vaccination. This level of stupidity should, at the very least, result in chemical castration. When your child dies due to neglect you should go to jail.

John Oliver: "[Trump's chart] features an estimate of 'Tariffs Charged to the USA' by other countries that nobody could figure out, until a financial journalist realized it was just how much we export to that country, minus how much we import, divided by how much we import."

Had a near death experience today. Driving at high speed (2 mph) out of my driveway a front spring snapped and the tyre blew out. Luckily my advanced driving skills saved the day. Chris was sympathetic. On hearing it was on my side he suggested cutting down on the pies 🫤

Mass starvation. Ethnic cleansing. Genocide. That is what our government is enabling — and it should be eternally ashamed. End all arms sales to Israel now.

The government has published no evidence to suggest that cutting disability benefits will get people back to work. The evidence it has published so far found that these cuts would plunge hundreds of thousands of people into poverty. I’m joining @TrussellUK in calling on the government to rethink. This is how you can help action.trussell.org.uk/disability-cuts

250,000 people – including 50,000 children – will be plunged into poverty as a result of the Gov’ts proposed benefit cuts - on its own analysis I’m joining @TrussellUK in calling on the government to rethink its cruel & completely irresponsible plan. This is how you can help

Barack Obama just delivered a blistering takedown of Trump's lawlessness. Importantly, Obama also offered Dems a way to argue that Trump's dictatorial abuses of power and his imminent wreckage of the economy are the same story. New piece from me: newrepublic.com/article/193641…

Pensions aren't a benefit, the NHS isn't a charity and safe streets aren't a privilege. If you're in Government and don't understand any of the above please speak to a careers adviser.

I wonder if the many so called celebrities who've backed this piece of shit will shut up and let due process run its course. He can open a godfundme for his defence.

Tomorrow your water bill will sky-rocket with an above-inflation hike. This is because the regulator is allowing extractive private companies to rinse the public. In Parliament I've called for an end to the failed experiment of water privatisation.

“the Labour government has done some good things since coming into office - its flagship workers’ rights legislation is a wonderful example - but on the issue of welfare cuts it has completely lost its way. It’s proposals are cruel, irresponsible and on its own impact assessment will plunge hundreds of thousands in to poverty and hardship - including tens of thousands of children”

Instead of stealing Greenland from Denmark, let’s steal some of their policies. In Denmark: - Health care and college are free.   - The starting wage is $22/hr. - Paid parental leave is 1 year. - Paid vacation is 6 weeks.   - All workers get pensions.
