"Here's why its needed"... There is a difference between "need" & "want". Not all demand should be filled. We need to stop deluding ourselves. We need to drastically reduce emissions. We need to reimagine the unsustainable way we live. We need to think about future generations.

I do not personally feel that human extinction is likely, but I do feel we are currently on a highway to messy civilizational collapse and a long dark ages, and the key to getting off this highway is to stand up to the fossil fuel industry and ramp it down quickly. #EmergencyMode

Today! Many of us are Ingraham students and we want real supports like counselors to talk with us and our classmates - not more guns and cops roaming our halls

This morning, Ingraham High School students and the Seattle Students Union have organized a district wide walk out. The students will meet at City Hall at 11:30 to demand the City Council take $9 million from SPD to pay for 1 counselor for every 200 high schoolers in the City

Once again, fossil fuel lobbyists outnumber every national delegation at COP27. Complete failure is of course ensured until they stop letting in the fossil fuel industry. It's a mockery of any real effort to stop Earth breakdown.
