@eliezer_hayford @kwadwosheldon "With what resources exactly, we borrow?"
That can be an option if the costs are low. Government has various sources of revenue to finance such projects.

@Manasseh_Azure @Manasseh_Azure funds should first be diverted into maintaining the roads and educating drivers to reduce accidents.

@BongoIdeasHQ @BongoIdeasHQ Ghana should be proud of this, that's an impressive record.

@eliezer_hayford @kwadwosheldon "...so they try to solve problems that need less resources..."
This shouldn't be, the bigger issues should be addressed, in this case, the transportation issues with Accra.
English

@FriNaKyei @kwadwosheldon I understand your point. But we live in a country where the gov't has decided not to spend but rather pay debt. So it's not like we have enough resources, it's very limited, so they try to solve problems that need less resources to fit what we have. If it makes sense

@DennisMiracles @DennisMiracles the congested nature and settlement issues in Accra should be addressed to permanently curb flooding.

It’s time to call out the government on the flooding situation or we all suffer.
This government never acts nor do anything until they hear the people cry and wail. Once the issue happens, and the people start screaming after the negative effect has been felt, they quickly run to work. no plan nor strategy in place to reduce the situation. It’s a Hopeless period !!
This useless NDC Government has no clue how to deal with the flood situation in Accra and how to reduce the effect on the people.
All governments have experienced flooding by the reason why the NDC especially under H.E John Mahama always experiences more devastating effect of flooding anytime they are in office, is because, this government is lazy and we have a very weak president.
This government always sits down, do nothing, just talk talk talk until the rain sets in. Now the rains start and they are overwhelmed and have no idea how to react as the People suffer.
Rawlings, Kuffour and Atta Mills, all experienced flooding but the difference is the effect and impact.
The most devastating effect of flooding in our 4th republic is the June 3rd 2015 flood and fire. And in 2026, we are here experiencing probably the second worst after 2015 and again it’s the same group of people in charge.
The difference is leadership, the difference between the previous governments and this current government, is that, the previous once would desilt, dredge, educate the public etc. weeks and months ahead of the rainy season. There would be flood but the effects comparatively, reduces.
This government, will do nothing, move around with some machines, break one or two houses and put cameras and bloggers on them without doing the real work.
We are here because we have a clueless bunch of arrogant braggarts in leadership and the situation is about to get worst.

@S_OkudzetoAblak @S_OkudzetoAblak this move should help strengthen our identity as equal human beings on the international stage.

The Government of Ghana confirms that the President of France will address the Next Steps Conference on Reparatory Justice being hosted in Accra by President Mahama.
President Macron is expected to welcome a good faith dialogue on historical injustice against Africans and outline France's commitment to Reparatory Justice following the landmark adoption of the Ghana-led UN resolution declaring the transatlantic enslavement as the gravest crime against humanity.

@weloveghana042 @weloveghana042 their personal belongings should not be stolen by bystanders this time.

Asamoah Gyan has a bigger World C up pedigree than Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto'o, Wayne Rooney, Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldinho, and David Beckham.
If not that he is an African, he gotta be in the same conversation as C Ronaldo, Maradona, Mbappe and Messi! In his prime, no competition!
