"You were not redeemed with corruptible things like silver and gold..but with the precious blood of Christ" (1 Pet 1:18-19). Jesus paid the price of your salvation in His blood. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.

Jesus said to be His disciple you must repent, deny yourself, follow Him, and take up your cross daily. Lk 9:23.

Atheists claim they don't believe in God due to lack of evidence. But God promises to reveal Himself, give evidence of Himself, to anyone who honestly searches for Him. "And you shall seek me, and find Me, when you shall search for Me with all your heart"-Jer 29:13.

God will save whoever He desires, and whoever desires to be saved, God will save.

The disciples called Jesus Lord and God. Judas never called Jesus Lord or God. He only referred to Him as rabbi. Who is Jesus to you?

Many poor souls believe that Jesus is just a fable, that the Christian faith is just a fairytale. Yet, that "fabled" Jesus and His "fairytale" faith has changed innumerable sinners into saints--and kept them changed.

You are precious to God. He created you, He loves you. And He sent His Son to pay your sin penalty. Repent and turn to Jesus today.

No matter what sins you have done, Jesus extends His grace to you. His grace will forgive all your sins and give you a new direction in life. "Therefore if any one be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new." 2 Cor 5:17.

God is good. All the time. In nice times. In terrible times. God is always good.

"Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen"--Lk 24:5-6. Jesus is risen. He is alive. And because He paid your sin penalty on the cross and because He is alive, He can save you from your sins. HE IS RISEN!

The tomb was closed, sealed, guarded; but none of that would matter. The resurrection was on its way.

With Jesus' death, Good Friday (also known as Holy Friday, Great Friday, Long Friday, Black Friday) was done. The Lamb's blood was shed for the redemption of humanity. Sin atoned for. But a dead Jesus can't save anyone. A risen Jesus can. HE IS RISEN! Believe on Him and be saved.

At 3pm, Jesus "gave up the ghost". The veil in the temple was torn in two from top to bottom opening up the Holy of Holies to all. An earthquake shook the land opening up graves of saints who were resurrected after Jesus' resurrection. The perfect Lamb of God had been sacrificed.

Knowing all things had been completed, Jesus spoke His 7th and final word from the cross "Father, into Thy hands I commend My Spirit"--Lk 23:46.

With the darkness gone, Jesus spoke His sixth word, shouted this sixth word, "It is finished!"--Jn 19:30.

After 3 hours, as the darkness began to lift, Jesus spoke His fifth word "I thirst."--Jn 19:28.

After saying His 4th word around noon, Jesus spoke no more until right before His death around 3pm. The supernatural darkness lasted from noon till about 3 during which time Jesus literally suffered Hell on the cross as the Father poured out His full wrath against sin on Jesus.

At 12 noon, as darkness began to fall across the land, Jesus spoke His fourth word from the cross: "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?"--Mt 27:46.

The third word that Jesus said from the cross was to His mother, "Woman, behold thy son!" and to His disciple John, "Behold thy mother!"--Jn 19:26-27.

The second word Jesus spoke from the cross was to the dying thief when He said "Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with Me in Paradise."-Lk 23:43.

After being crucified at 9am, Jesus spoke His first words from the cross--"Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." Lk 23:34.
