My thoughts on the Bryan Hodgson hire at Providence:
We all know two things —
South Florida and Providence both made offers.
If he truly wanted to stay, he would’ve already signed an extension at South Florida, just like Schertz did at Saint Louis.

It’s about 4x more than USF
We are in a way better conference that gets way more National media coverage
And we are sold out for season tickets and have better attendance than USF

@Friarmelo Perhaps, but USF is a much bigger school and they have money. They are also in a league where if they play their cards right they could dominate. USF a better job than some people understand.

@Friarmelo My brother in Christ.. I'll let you down easy with an explanation of what's going on. He is using Syracuse & Providence as leverage to get as good a deal as he can out of USF. Neither him nor his wife want to move for the 3rd time in 3 seasons. They don't want to leave Tampa.
