He’d text my mom, because he suffered the loss of his. My brother started crying last night, because Tiggz knew him since he was 3. We shared secrets. We cried. We were there for each other in the worst and in the best of times. He was always himself. What you saw is what you got. And what we had was a beautiful human with an incomparable zest for life, and an immeasurable form of love for those he held dear.

Most of my fave NYC soap actors of the 80s/90s would be considered too "unique" looking for modern soaps. We lost so much when it became more about looking a certain way over talent and the ability to really inhabit a character

@FridayInCanada I loved OLTL and AMC, but also Santa Barbara. Heck, I grew up on so many different soaps it's hard to keep track! 😂 I miss those days.

The beautiful thing about the now canceled soaps filmed in NYC was all the broadway writers, thetre actors etc who worked on them. The difference is what made them so good. You dont get this in the California/Georgia filmed soaps we have left today. Sad.
