@AmericanAir The next person I spoke to said it was because someone with a higher status was given my seat. Which is it?? 3 different answers, still separated from my wife and infant in an inferior seat to the one I booked. #americanairlines

@KristopherK78 After reviewing closer, the initial seats 14A and 14C were in Premium Economy. Your ticket was purchased for Main Cabin. The seats you have now are 18A and 18C, which is a window and an aisle. We're sorry for any confusion.

@AmericanAir It’s not confusion. It’s an error on your part that you don’t seem willing to correct.

@AmericanAir So because you allowed us to reserve seats in that section and confirmed them, it’s ok to switch us so we aren’t sitting next to each other, leaving my wife flying solo with our 6 month old baby??

Yesterday we learned that @Delta decided everyone with status gets to board before people with infants & small children. So disappointing.
