The Friendship Public Charter School team is in Philadelphia at the College Board Conference! 🎓 Our counseling teams and school leaders are gaining new strategies to support postsecondary success for our scholars. Many of our Friendship campuses will be hosting engaging activities to celebrate today and make math come alive for our scholars! CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 to Friendship Ideal on winning the @FriendshipPCS Black History Quiz Bowl Championship! In an American culture that has historically devalued the contributions of Blacks, my heart was uplifted by witnessing this annual event where children cheered not a sport, but academic excellence of their peers. It is no wonder that @FriendshipPCS is far exceeding other public schools in the district when it comes to moving scholars toward grade level proficiency, especially in the critical middle school grade years!
