Really not long until @YorkArtGallery joins the @NationalGallery's celebrations and has Monet's masterpiece 'The Water-Lily Pond' (1899) as the centrepiece of our 2024 summer exhibition - we're counting the days! 🥳🖼️🎨

The new special exhibition at York Art Gallery is my favourite one yet Bloom is so beautiful and vibrant 💐🌹🌷💗

It is our 190th anniversary this year! This month we look back at one of our prestigious heritage projects completed in 1887 for the York Art Gallery. Two panels were tiled for the front façade of the building, depicting the death of Leonardo da Vinci.

Our new exhibition ‘Bloom’ opens in exactly one week and we’re so excited! Here’s a glimpse of Henri Fantin-Latour’s ‘Pink Roses’.💕 ‘Bloom’ will showcase flora through paintings, works on paper, ceramics and contemporary installations. Find out more: yorkartgallery.org.uk/exhibition/blo…
