I've just learned there's a nearby town named Bitter End. From the Google Maps images, it appears to be anything but bitter, but I immediately started looking at all the possible long runs that could end there. Will run unreasonably long distances to fulfill a pun.
@Crignet It’ll struggle to beat a dark chocolate hobnob! There are very few where I don’t think dark is an improvement over milk, although Toblerone does break that rule for me.
@ChorltonBrewers@CromartyBrewing As are we. From sampling at bottling it may answer the question, how much spruce is too much spruce, but see how it mellows.
There’s nothing wrong with beer styles per se, but they have become so codified and calcified they’re as much a straightjacket as a tool for understanding. We won’t and shouldn’t abandon beer styles entirely, but it’s time to develop a new language.

Congratulations @RndmForestRunnr!! Was the scheduled tweet on loop 5 intended as an extra bit of motivation to finish, knowing that it was “out there”?
Four runners remain in the #BM100: John Kelly @RndmForestRunnr (clockwise), Aurelian Sanchez (counterclockwise), Karel Sabbe (clockwise), Damian Hall @Ultra_Damo (counterclockwise).
@JMRuther4d@willbaldlygo John and Damo wanted to race the Pennine Way at the same time in opposite directions, perhaps this is their chance to do something similar.
@RndmForestRunnr My mum once told me there was nothing I could do that would surprise her, and that she’d probably done it herself, or something like that. Can’t remember the context of what stupid thing I’d just done.
As my kids get older it's getting harder to walk the line of sharing & empathizing that I was once a kid too while not sharing the full extent of all the stupid things I did at their age lest they try to one up me. 😇😬
@FrisbeeJeff That’s the ‘BA’ version and the standard. I’ve at least one more of the ‘BA’. Wonder how it’s holding up. Shall check during the festivities. You guys still making it?
