With the potential for rain this week, keep this in mind. If your wipers are on, turn your headlights on. It’s all about seeing and being seen. Slow down, watch for standing water, and increase your following distance. #DriveFriendlyFrisco

On Sunday, our Animal Services Officers responded to a report of a heron that was entangled in a fishing hook and line and trapped in a tree near the pond. Despite the rain, our Officers worked diligently to safely free the bird. Once the hook was removed, the heron was able to fly away without further issue. A special thank‑you to Animal Services Officers Aubrey and Noah for handling the rescue from the boat, and to Katie for coordinating the rescue from the bank. Their teamwork made all the difference.
