Caught Faster Than They Could Hide Robbery Suspects Tracked Down Thanks to Smart Tech, Sharp Citizens, and Strong Interagency Teamwork On March 10th, officers were dispatched to a reported robbery at Smoke Art located at 2440 Eldorado Parkway. The store owner stated that masked suspects had pointed a firearm at him before fleeing to the west. Thanks to quick‑thinking community members who provided video of the suspects entering a blue Dodge truck, officers were able to immediately enter the vehicle information into the Flock Safety system. Even without a license plate, Flock’s technology allowed officers to search by vehicle make, model, and color, which quickly led to identifying a matching plate and getting information out to nearby agencies. Within the hour, Little Elm Police Department located the suspect vehicle, conducted a high-risk traffic, and detained the suspects. All four individuals were later arrested for their involvement in the robbery. This quick resolution was made possible through: Alert and engaged citizens Advanced Flock search tools Excellent teamwork between responding officers and allied agencies Teamwork and technology: 1 Masked getaway plan: 0

In honor of National Animal Poison Prevention Week, remember that pets can’t tell the difference between treats and toxins. Keep these common household dangers out of paws’ reach to keep your furry friends safe. If you suspect your pet has ingested something harmful, contact your veterinarian right away.

Pedestrians are among the most vulnerable road users because they aren’t equipped with safety equipment like airbags, seat belts, and bumpers. All of us share a responsibility to follow the rules of the road and bring the number of pedestrian fatalities to zero. #EndTheStreakTX
