This morning as Odile was officially released back to the heavens, the sky displayed a spectacular display of beauty as they received Baby Bastet the black panfur beauty 🐾🐈‍⬛♥️ and the flock of white corellas celebrated her eternity and then melts into the ether like Odile. 🐾

My NZ BLUNT umbrella arrived designed to withstand violent storms and wind due to clever engineering principles and its good looking, has a cover and a shoulder strap. My old golf umbrella blew away in the wind.💨 ironically I opened it outside and a huge gust of wind blew up. 🤣

@candystripe They aren’t rosary beads they are beautiful mid century glass beads. I remember my mother wearing them for mourning when my dad died when I was a child which is probably why I associated them with serious things.

@frisky9 That’s a lovely idea. Restringing’s a good way to ensure some longevity for your mum’s beads. It’s a skill I’d love to learn. One day perhaps!

I think I will attach my $4 onyx cabochon to my mother’s old black rosary beads .I think they are rosary beads. They need restringing and if I wear them they may shoot sparks ⚡️🤣😈 but I’ll take the chance. It’s a way to honour the memory of my mum. They will need to be restrung

But the BEST thing I found was Joei ♥️ for $2 he holds up bananas 🍌. Mr Milty wasn’t keen and he cleaned up beautifully in the dishwasher.🤣🤣🤣I don’t know how long he will last be he’s very cheerful.

@archie_pen This one is the classic size so slight wider than a normal one but 2 sizes below a golf. Big enough to keep me dry if working in Sydney. I don’t use an umbrella normally here as getting wet isn’t a huge issue in active wear and a beanie

This is Lenny the goanna he belongs to my neighbours and he was found at the tip, now he guards the boat by sitting on the tarp. 🤓🤣🤣🤣 🦎

Reasons I rejected my food today: 1. The bowl is the wrong color 2. You said “good job” while I was eating & it distracted me. 3. You left & didn’t watch me eat 4. I wanted the other flavor I also don’t eat 5. My bowl wasn’t where I like it 6. I wanted wet food, not dry

I op shopping-again today looking for cheap sunglass cases & I managed to get a brand new Ray Ban case, a Calvin Klein white case with black insert and a brand new Steroflex case which fits my Steroflex glasses perfectly. The CK was filthy now it’s divine. $1 each

I also scored for $4 this gorgeous cabouchon onyx stone set in a silver pendant. The Rayban clubmasters were only $15. Happy mum. MY cats eyes are superior anyway. ♥️

Mum had to go south today to look at some windows for her house and look what she found at the Salvos op shop! Vintage Rayban Clubmaster sunglasses with their original case. In true mum style she has carefully cleaned them and polished them up including the case.
