Sucks for Islam that he will never get out of Khabib's shadow because he is really developing into a great fighter who is very much his own while having some similarities

Volk couldn't beat the curse but what a performance by Islam Even considering the short notice factor, he used the open stance fully to his advantage, the bodykicks effected Volk and then he changed levels

While I root for Volk, I hope mainly that it will be as good as the first fight

Chimaev is gasping for air, the fight wasn't this high paced, seems really that he empited his gas tank quite a bit in the first A monster in the first but when you can wear him down, he gets significantly less terrifying

Good showing by Usman on short notice and with all the side noises but a let down by Chimaev after the first round

Chimaev had more to work with setting up his strikes behind the threat of the TD but really looked too cautious, his gas tank seems to be an issue or it's poor fight IQ

Edwards had a better performance against Usman in his last fight

Maybe it's trying to pace himself but this was so far an odd round for Chimaev

Chimaev is such a physical specimen
