Finding myself again

@neiltyson had a random question pop into my head. since we are moving at approximately 1.9 million mph through the universe would that mean humans, given the ability to do so, could safely travel through space at those speeds? would mean less than a week to mars.

So drove 16 hours to see my grandpa this past weekend since he was getting close to dying and I thankful I didn't wait because he passed away shortly after midnight this morning. At least he is no longer in pain and is in a better place.

@itsLatent @Weak3n I agree, lower skill floor but is the skill ceiling lower too? Haven't played too much of smite 2 since December but from what I remembered it seemed like due to abilities being much easier to land you had more... resources?... to focus on the rest of the game making it easier.

@Weak3n Right, so if the game is easier, then the skill floor is lower, since it requires less competence or proficiency to play that game Since more players are better at Smite 2 than Smite 1 because abilities are easier to hit, the skill floor would be lower, not higher

I played Smite 1 all night last night, after not playing for months. The main thing i realized was that the skill floor of Smite 2 is insanely high compared to Smite 1. You VERY rarely miss abilities in Smite 2. In regular Smite it feels like, it takes far more skill and effort to win a fight I recorded a video talking about my thoughts, that'll be live tomorrow

@LordFemto725 @ranmasaotome96 HxH is my all time fav too. But funny enough my first 2 anime were yu yu hakusho and SEL. So my views on anime for new viewers is warped. Wasn't saying that it's a must watch for a first though. Just that it's a must watch in general.

SEL is def required watching, but I wouldn’t force feed it to a 1st timer unless it’s someone who I know is a “deep thinker” and wouldn’t want to watch something like One Piece, JJK, or Hunter x Hunter (my all time favorite). I’ve only met one person who wanted to be thrown into the deep end of the anime pool and that was a steins;gate rec lol.

@LordFemto725 @ranmasaotome96 Joke "starter kit" or not I believe everyone should watch serial experiments lain and akira at least once. The amount of references to akira in modern anime is crazy and the concepts from lain will be relevant for the next 30 years. Lain was way ahead of it's time.

Been meandering through life with no real end goal lately. Lonely and depressed. Bout time I fix that. No fixing the lonely part right away but I can work on my depression and set some goals for my life atleast.
