@sprucestares minecraft is a game that can go on forever in a single world. how are you supposed to design progression around that?

@harristic_ I kinda wish progression was stretched out so that these stages of the game lasted longer without just… ignoring upgrading your gear. Not sure how that would be accomplished without arbitrary limitations

@PaddyLegend16 It's possible that this gets changed in the end. But it's also possible that this mysterious narrator bears some importance at the end of the game, such that a mid narrative check in keeps them in the player's mind 🤷‍♀️

I know Deltarune is planned to be an experience where you can play the whole game at once, but I think the ending of Chapter 4 will lose a lot of impact when you can just play every chapter without the wait. The wait before and after this moment really make it special to me

if you place the cushions on a small block and replace the block with another one it will stay the same height! #Minecraft

Hold on... I cooked Use snow layers and place them with the help of a fence on the side, then break the snow layers and quickly place a block to support the cushions again

Using 3 tiles of snow, placing the cushion, breaking it, then quickly placing a stair seems to provide a better alignment for making couches

You can make secret areas with the new Minecraft cushions. #minecraft

@FrogSlingerNora no you misunderstood my point im not saying the cushion is single use im saying that the functionality of it couldve been given to other recently added blocks which are pretty much single use and only made for building

@FrogSlingerNora modern mc has a massive bloat problem for example; this same feature could've been made by making wool slabs/stairs sittable, and then making it so you can cover stairs/slabs and other sets of blocks with a carpet so you can sit on it. mc has too many single use items/blocks

@hatsondogs_ yeah, why would they add a new block for the sake of a new block when they could give functionality to the older blocks youll just end up with a load of random one use blocks also that a carpeted stair or slab would fit far better with the minecraft aesthetic
