@coingecko not listing #Hedera NFTs may have aligned with earlier market conditions, but things have changed. Early on, NFT data aggregation focused on a few dominant chains with clear liquidity, standardized marketplaces, and easy indexing. ETH, SOL etc. we all know them... Today, Hedera got exactly this with @SentX_io! Structured data and real activity by a super active community. We got close to ~21M $HBAR in monthly volume across just 7 (!!!) collections. Yet it's still missing from CoinGeckos NFT coverage. This affects visibility, discovery, and how capital flows across ecosystems. Since multi-chain is already in place, NFT coverage should reflect it by also including Hedera.🫡 And Hedera NFTs are just heating up again, just wait whats coming the next months.

Based take tbh I just think what we're seeing right now (if you talk about the current state) is also a side effect of the recent spike in volume, because I guess speculation naturally follows all the attention. But long term you're right, the communities that last are the ones where people actually care about the collection, talking about traits, style, upcoming drops and not just the floor. These are also the ones onboarding new faces most likely, keep them engaged and therefore grow the space

This might seem like a wet blanket but is incredibly important for NFT communities if we want to grow as a space: We need to stop focusing on and talking about floor prices, fomo, supply shock and all that jazz. Think about all the successful trading card communities. They don't spend their days talking about supply squeezes and fomo. They talk about Chase cards, upcoming drops, current metas etc. of course they keep track of price lists, but it's not a "let's all talk about how we increase these prices" culture. If we want this space to grow, and not become another bubble, the sole focus needs to be bringing in new collectors that love digital art collections. If they arrive and see a community spending the whole day talking about fomo and supply shock, they're going to think: 1. This is kinda weird. 2. This community is just excited about dumping on my head when I join. Most of them will promptly leave. NFTs are going to be massive and shock a lot of people with their growth. The communities that win in this next phase will be the ones that grow a culture of building fun around collectibles, not price and fomo.

The Origin team regrets to announce that we will be pausing operations until conditions allow us to relaunch our investment platform. Our Hedera Grant was spent hiring the best marketing teams, KOLs, developers and operators to run an engaging, cross-chain airdrop campaign. In addition, we built a fully functional HTS native investment platform that allowed for OTC secondary sales, participation in investment opportunities and distribution of tokens. Unfortunately, we used much of the remaining balance of funds to invest in leading projects like Zoop and other promising projects. As it stands, these investments have not been suitable to be offered for investors on our platform. The potential sale of these investments was critical to allowing us to continue operations. As such, we have made the difficult decision to pause operations until market conditions allow for us to relaunch our platform and provide world class investment opportunity to the Hedera Community. We appreciate all of the support and will maintain our IP, platform and airdrop campaign until in the future when a good opportunity presents itself. Sincerely, Origin Team

OMG--It gets worse the more you look. Looks like the same guy who just locked in a massive $5m USD grant from @HederaFndn has received previous grants from them in the past and failed to deliver. Do these projects ring a bell? Dropper Labs Realm GG Did anything come from those grants/projects? So much going on in hedera for collectibles and collectors. HederaNFTs will have its time we are seeing it happen now. So many great brands/projects putting in the work and still showing up daily. The community members pushing hedera retail have been crushing it. They host spaces daily crosschain network. Community members deserve all the love and support. You guys and gals make this community. Thank you we appreciate you.
