The perfect evening at @kewgardens for #KewTheMusic. Perfect setting, perfect sunset and @AlisonMoyet in flawless, fine voice bringing us 40 years of music and laughs. Couldn’t ask for more!

I didn’t realise how funny @StuartBroad8 was until this evening. Held his own with @gradecricketer peeps and took a whole load of abuse from 3000 people in Hammersmith with a smile on his face.

Can’t wait to go in for @gradecricketer live pod recording. Not a huge amount of women in the queue…

During the filming of Carry On Sergeant in 1958, Bob Monkhouse had a difficult relationship with actor and first Doctor Who William Hartnell. Hartnell was initially cold and rude after discovering Monkhouse was earning £1,500—a substantial amount at the time. When Hartnell learned that Bob had recently lost his father, who had disowned & treated him poorly for years, his attitude changed completely, and he became exceptionally kind to him.
