Went 6-0 in the limited ptq, only dropping one game with the best sealed deck I’ve ever had the privilege of playing. It was a bit soft to aggro but I could easily sideboard into a leaner build if needed They say I can’t draft but Ima to do my best to prove em wrong tomorrow 👨🏫

Registered a precon. I put my faith in the wotc play design to build my deck for me.

There are 4+ separate and strong UR decks you could point to in Standard (so far!), Flow State is good in one of them and even there it's worse than it looks.
The best cards in SOS being so concentrated in UR is unfortunate given the past year but this is pure rage bait

Yesterday i played my first Standard Challenge since Strixhaven's release... What a disgusting format... 🤮🤮 I've already booked everything for RC Prague, but now i'm seriously considering not going, unless there are some changes. I don't think it took a genius to realize that this card would ruin Standard, in a meta already infested by UR decks.... 🧐🧐🧐

@MtgNosferatu Every card is multi-modal to some degree, it's just less obvious than stratosaur. The more information you have about your hand, the better you use your cards: so one card is worth more than one card, it makes all your cards have more mileage

@MtgNosferatu To put this understanding into practice you can take a card with basic landcycling. The more cards you have in your hand, the more you will be able to make an accurate assessment for whether you will cast the spell side, or whether you will cycle it, (and which color you choose)

Drawing an extra card in a game of Magic is widely regarded as cheating. But there is a legal way to gain the same advantage: choosing to draw first. If you have a limited (usually sealed) deck that can choose to draw, you will enjoy a broken consistency and attrition advantage.
