watching a team: - go through major layoffs, cutting 70%+ of their team - turn around to make a "strategic acquisition" of a mobile app - relaunch a "new version" of their product which is just the same rinse & repeat of their competitors without any key differentiators and years behind the minimum standards - incentivize trading on this "new" platform with the exact same token airdrop mechanics that we've seen every team do - hear from team members that the internal work culture is beyond toxic can we just be done with these major extraction events please?

The skill I've mastered: boredom. Our brains never stop working, in this era people can’t wait 10 seconds without grabbing their phone. The second you allow yourself to be bored, your mind starts to fire the best ideas surface, questions and thoughts. Force yourself to sit bored for 15-30 minutes a day, no distractions. Stop the blame game, start mutual understanding. Focus on building solid communities, creating real trust, using approaches that truly understand web3. It's not about budget or expensive tools.

Web3 marketing needs a combination of web2 (structure, data, clear strategy) with web3 (wild creativity, real communities, rapid adaptation). Products without value make marketing pointless, but marketing using old tricks also makes good products sink.

Founders blame marketers, marketers blame shitty products, this drama is stale and unproductive. The real problem: we're still stuck using outdated methods that are no longer relevant.
