@England @BellinghamJude Time and time again, Jude Bellingham delivers when England need him most. 🙌
Two goals to send England into the semi-finals and six at this World Cup already. At only 23, he is making this tournament his own. 🏴🔥

Argentina's quarter-final opponents are Switzerland...
SUI. 👀😂
Cristiano Ronaldo fans know exactly why that abbreviation stands out.
Can SUI be the ones to stop Messi? 🇨🇭🤔

@FIFAWorldCup 18 years old vs 41 years old.
One player at the beginning of what could be a legendary career. The other saying goodbye after six World Cups and two decades at the very top.
Football has a way of giving us moments like this. ❤️⚽️

41-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo. 18-year-old Lamine Yamal.
A generational #FIFAWorldCup match-up 🎬

This is ageing well… sort of 😂
At least the first bit is looking solid. Mbappé really does feel like the obvious one to chase down the record long-term.
The rest? We’ll pretend I didn’t speak too soon. 👀😭

Mbappé for certain. He's already on 12, he's years younger, and realistically has multiple World Cups left after this one. I wouldn't even be surprised if he ends up setting a record that nobody gets close to for a very long time. As for who does it first this summer... I don't think Messi breaks it at all. 👀

@footballontnt That’s football heritage right there. 🥹
One legend of the game and one of the brightest young stars of the next generation sharing a moment after such a huge match.
Respect, emotion and the passing of the torch all in one picture. 👏🇵🇹🇪🇸

@FabrizioRomano It's going to feel strange knowing there won't be another Cristiano Ronaldo World Cup. 🥹🇵🇹
Whatever comes next, nothing changes what he gave to football: six World Cups, history made, and memories that millions of fans will never forget.
Obrigado, Cristiano. 🐐❤️

@footballontnt The consistency is what makes it so impressive.
World Cups come around every four years, yet Harry Kane has climbed into the top five goalscorers in the tournament's history. Another reminder that he'll go down as one of England's greatest ever forwards. 🏴👏

@England Love seeing this kind of energy from the England camp. 😂🕺
Big win, quarter-finals booked, confidence flowing, and John Stones moving like he’s already got the playlist sorted. Proper tournament vibes. 🏴🔥

@brfootball Six World Cups. Two decades of memories. One unbelievable legacy. 🇵🇹
Cristiano Ronaldo says farewell to the biggest stage having done things no player had ever done before.
What a journey. What a player. 🐐👏
English

Some players win World Cups, some players leave a legacy that goes far beyond one trophy.
Cristiano Ronaldo gave football over two decades of greatness, records, memories and moments that changed the game forever.
It hurts to see it end like this, but what a privilege it was to witness. 🐐🇵🇹💔

It's the image that broke all our hearts. ❤️🇵🇹🐐
Cristiano Ronaldo couldn't hold back the tears after Portugal were knocked out of the World Cup.
💔🗣️ "I'm sad to leave the World Cup like this. I'm leaving with a clear conscience. Yes, it was my last World Cup. Now I'll take some time to be with my family and think things over."
There are footballers who win World Cups. Then there are players who change the history of football forever. Cristiano did the latter.

English

Surely Wavin' Flag by K'naan is the greatest @FIFAWorldCup song ever.
Not just because it's a great song, but because it instantly takes you back to the tournament. The atmosphere, the emotion, the memories... it captured the World Cup perfectly. 🌍🏆🎶
I genuinely don't think anything comes close.

@footballontnt What a run. 🥹🇵🇹
First to score in six men’s World Cups, Portugal’s all-time top World Cup goalscorer, oldest knockout goalscorer and 11 goals across the biggest stage.
Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t just play World Cups, he became part of World Cup history. 🐐👏

How daft is it that a London-born player, who represented @England at U17 level, can now be blocked by @FIFAcom from playing in England? @AVFCOfficial
Football eligibility rules really do create some bizarre situations. 🏴🤷♂️

@FabrizioRomano What a legend. 🧤🇩🇪
For well over a decade, Neuer completely changed how people viewed the goalkeeper position. So many of today's keepers play the way they do because of him.
One of the greatest goalkeepers football has ever seen. 👏🇩🇪
London, England 🇬🇧 English

@FabrizioRomano The stories from teammates just keep backing it up.
You hear so much about Cristiano's mentality and work ethic, but time and time again players also talk about how welcoming, generous and supportive he is behind the scenes. That's a side of him that often gets overlooked. 🤍🐐
Paddington, London 🇬🇧 English

@FabrizioRomano Cristiano Ronaldo always seems to have time for the next generation. 🤍🇵🇹
Even in the middle of a World Cup, he still takes a moment to encourage others. That caring side of him doesn’t get spoken about enough. 👏
