@thakinish Best we can do is work with the people in front of us and the resources we have. And complain (partially) in jest.

@thakinish I wish it were as simple as "down with Big Pharma/insurances." If we push back on our own, we get squashed in the process. If we put our faith in government to do the right thing...we'll probably be waiting a long time.

@PhlawlessPharm Hospital I used to work at had that happen w/ amiodarone. Wasn't any available due to backorder. One nursing unit had the bright idea to rip open every single crash cart tray to get some, despite labels saying there wasn't any inside. The techs that packed the trays were pissed.

I had a dream that I went to a code, and I opened the code cart and there were no epis in it and I kept finding other carts and none of them had any LOL what kinda torture was that

Can't tell which is worse in #retailpharmacy: Summertime with broken a/c & having massive portable units that cool very little, take up lots of space, & make a ton of noise -OR- Wintertime with essentially no heat because it's also broken and having to layer winter gear indoors.

*picks up ringing phone* Me: "Pharmacy, how can I help you?" 📞: *insert several-minute long backstory with a request for refills somewhere towards the end* Me: "...ok...and your name please?" #retailpharmacy
