I know the H2H is also taken into account, but I don't like that either, as it's a result that could be defined as early as by the 20th gameweek, and is not dynamic. The Serie A in Italy (and in the 3rd world the Chilean league as well) has a final game as the only tiebreaker.

My humble opinion is that in no universe should a league title be defined by goal difference, even less by total goals scored. That's fine for all other positions, but the title? If equaled on points, schedule a neutral ground final game the weekend after the last gameweek.
