Recent X API changes highlight a hard truth about many InfoFi projects.
InfoFi tries to financialize attention — paying users for posts, replies, or engagement. But without strong identity signals, bot resistance, and quality controls, it quickly turns into incentive-driven spam rather than real information value.😢
Real users, verifiable behavior, on-chain traceability, and compliance-ready signals are what make crypto systems sustainable — not engagement farming.

This has led to a tremendous amount of AI slop & reply spam on the platform. We have revoked API access from these apps, so your X experience should start improving soon (once the bots realize they’re not getting paid anymore).
