One of the worst sets of bolt drivers you would meet is in Abuja. You book them,they are very rude and uncultured. They arrive and their cars are smelling and dirty from sleeping inside all night. They even bargain prices with you, ignoring what the app is charging. They won't turn on AC for you. You are in the car and everything is making noise. Bad shocks. Bad linkages. Bad ball joints. Bent tyres. You are in the car and it feels like you are on a massage chair. Almost all of them has one family problem or the other. It's really crazy.

A DEA officer stopped at our farm yesterday "I need to inspect your farm for illegal growing drugs." I said "Okay, but don't go in that field over there....." The DEA officer verbally exploded saying, " Mister, I have the authority of the Federal Government with me!" Reaching into his rear pants pocket, the arrogant officer removed his badge and shoved it in my face. "See this fucking badge?! This badge means I am allowed to go wherever I wish.... On any land !! No questions asked or answers given!! Have I made myself clear?.... do you understand?!!" I nodded politely, apologized, and went about my chores. A short time later, I heard loud screams, looked up, and saw the DEA officer running for his life, being chased by my big old mean bull...... With every step the bull was gaining ground on the officer, and it seemed likely that he'd sure enough get gored before he reached safety. The officer was clearly terrified. I threw down my tools, ran to the fence and yelled at the top of my lungs..... "Your badge, show him your fucking BADGE!!"

I have watched Messi for over 15 years, and I still don’t have the right words. Last night, he played what is likely his final game on Argentine soil, a goal, an assist, 5-0, 57,000 people standing and screaming his name, and even then it felt like it wasn’t enough, like no crowd could ever be loud enough to match what he deserves. That’s the thing about Messi, he makes you feel like the world owes him a debt it can never fully pay. He didn’t just play football, he played it like it was language, like it was the only honest way he knew how to speak. And for two decades, the whole world stopped and listened. I am not Argentine, I have no blood in that soil, but last night I felt something I can only describe as loss, the specific grief of watching something irreplaceable begin its goodbye. There will be a 2026 World Cup, there will be more football, more names, more careers, but there will not be another Messi, not in my lifetime, not in yours, not in the lifetime of anyone reading this. Last night was the beginning of the end, and even the end was beautiful. All football lovers need to appreciate him
