@bribition this is true, but the rates were really good (my mum had a cup of tea like 10m ago so the kettle was already very hot)

@FulhamAlt ???? it is clearly more optimal to get the milk out at the same time as the kettle is boiling (full overlap) so then you can speed up the tea brewing process with TAS stirring + teabag bashing

speedrunning has fried me. i said "this is optimal" because i waited for the kettle to boil before getting the milk out of the fridge. obviously getting the milk is like crafting your blaze bed, its overlapped with the pigs trading (tea brewing)

@kirasfrogs my microwave has 10m, 1m, 10s buttons only. sometimes i hit the 1m twice, and stop it at 1m30s. less inputs, more time for overlapping (getting dishes out of cupboard, cutlery etc) only for genius

@FulhamAlt optimizing microwave inputs by pressing the +30s button 3 times as it requires less finger travel than pressing 1 3 0
