The secret to being a great pitching coach is to know the deck is always stacked. That your judgment will slip & you will at times struggle to win for your athletes. You can't ever reach perfection. But you can believe in an asymptote toward which you are ceaselessly striving.

Your athletes don’t care what brand specialty bar you use, if your logo was screened onto the $1,500 mounds, or if you splurged on a Keiser instead of a no-name cable column. All they want is an authentic training environment. Invest is that!
