There was a guy in our hostel that was always wearing reigning cloths, whatever he had on was drip on drip. He could wear boxers and sucks and slide in the hostel and it'd look like he was modeling for a brand. Meanwhile, baba never had what to eat. He'll always ask you for garri, he'll always bring plate whenever your rice is ready, he'll always ask for maggi if he eventually wants to cook. What he always does was, anytime his pocket money comes, he'll deposit a huge some with a guy that owns a boutique, buy flashy cloths and so, but always depending on others for what to feed. Many people sha cut him off.

When I was in 200l, my phone was stolen. I had the option of saving from my pocket money to buy a good phone but I rejected it. I used torchlight phone for a year. My friends who had less pocket money than me saved to buy good phone and wore new clothes. Blackberry was reigning so it made sense to want to jump on it. My priority was my food. I wasn't going to alter my feeding for phone. I went to the main market on weekend and did proper shopping to cook. Ironically, I was feeding the people using their money to buy phone and clothes. Buying phone meant they had to hold their stomach. My point is, everyone has what matters to them. Your money will go where your priority is.
