The founder, longtime leader and driving force behind $PWDY, Jim O'Rourke, passed away recently. My condolences to everyone that knew him. It may sound weird but I think the chart reflects what this guy was building and I can't help but be impressed. I've traded the OTC for 20 years and what these guys have quietly done is rarer than you can imagine. Getting back from SEC revocation, gutting out a 3+ year slow burn phase to ensure survival without any toxic dilution and slowly but surely making the right boring decisions for the big picture. I haven't seen an OTC with a 10+ year price history as rock solid as these guys and that does not happen on accident. The accomplishments mentioned are why the chart is a unicorn and why they're on the precipice of exponential growth. Ryan Cohen recently talked about how he wants to run his company like a family owned business and that's literally what Jim did. I don't know how sudden his passing was but the family had a succession plan ready and now his sister and another close relative are running the show. $PWDY represents so much for me. I've done this OTC gig for 20 years now and I've spent over 2 years now scaling into this play. I believe in it more than any other OTC I've ever invested in and I always scale in relative to my conviction level. I really think it's special and I have no doubt that the main man behind this special chart is Jim O'Rourke. I can truly appreciate his work but only through the chart and what it says to me, and that's a really cool connection. RIP Mr. Jim O'Rourke.
