Over the past week several devastating #Wildfires grew in eastern washington. I took a break from Web3 to help my community. During the span of 6 days we were able to organize over 75 local citizens with trucks and horse trailers Some fun numbers for you. Friday night - 1300 animals saved Saturday 800+ save animals Sunday 600+ saved animals Over 2000 mouths fed from restaurants Over 100 tons of hay donated to sanctuary’s Over 30 home evacuation assists. We lost count after that. We also were able to raise/purchase and donate over $20,000 of specific items needed to the fire camps holding the animals. Another $620,000 was raised by another local organization. Below are just a couple pictures from the fire and some of the animals we rescued. After speaking with the presidents of the Heart foundation, American humane rescue and the Cattlemans Association we were informed that our local organized efforts did more for the relief than the red Cross had done at the time. So my question: if we can come together and achieve miracles like this every day in web2, then, why aren’t we doing it in web3. Community is our strongest asset, and the day we learn how to use it is the day we have mass adoption . #Grayfire #Volunteer
