It was an exciting Wednesday observing students engaged in learning and discussing improvement initiatives and reviewing progress with school leaders of @FultondaleHigh. The Progress Monitoring Review is part of the @JEFCOED & @CogniaOrg partnership for institutional improvement.

It has been and exciting few days discussing improvement initiatives and reviewing success metrics with school leaders of @FultondaleHigh and @McAdoryMiddle. I am blessed to be involved through the @JEFCOED and @CogniaOrg partnership for institutional improvement.

Students, faculty, & Dr. Tre Finklea presented an outstanding #BlackHistoryMonth Program for the @FultondaleHigh community. 🤎✌🏾🖤 Throughout February, students have immersed themselves in learning about and honoring the contributions of African Americans. #Community #Gratitude

A big thanks to Shane Holliday of the Fultondale Fire Department for visiting Coach Franklin’s Advanced Anatomy Class today. Mr. Holliday brought equipment to demonstrate an EKG, different abnormalities of the heart, and how paramedics determine heart emergencies in the field.

During this time of year, it’s especially easy to get caught up in everything happening around us. Here are 118 things Ms. McGrath is thankful for. She feels so lucky to get to spend time getting to know these amazing students.
