@SM_CEE1 If I was there id grind sims, backtest a strategy while you wait for capital or have enough. I am sure youd have a great equity curve on your set of variables chosen

"How do you know it's self sabatoge?"
Ask yourself this, how many times have you reversed your equity curve and blown an account right at an important level?
- $100 to pass this eval... 💥
- One more trade... 💥
- One more push and im out.. 💥
- Just one more... ☠️
I call it the glass ceiling.
In 2024 I repeatedly hit that wall and reacted like a fly against a window pane.
The three core rules I learned from this:
1. The more mechanical and rule based your system is, the more data you collect, and the less emotions can pull on your strings.
2. The less you associate with that milestone of "almost passed, funded, paid"... the better chance you have at achieving it.
3. If you follow the first two rules in harmony, you become the equity curve as emotionless execution.
Do these 100 simulations of
(# of trades * win rate * R:R)
get emotional under pressure?
That's what you're missing.
You fail to perform under pressure.
I finally saw the glass ceiling for myself and created a solution to the problem.
Most people wont see it until hundreds of blow ups. It took me over 400.
Im trying to save you hundreds of failures. I'm sharing everything I know.
Stay fighting. don't give up, even if you need to go sim.

Met a trader in Romania who had $2.3M in prop firm funding.
He was doing $15-25k a month in payouts.
Then he discovered a new strategy that his friend was trading (and making more than him with).
Decided his current system was 'too basic.'
Switched everything.
Within 6 months he had breached most of his accounts.
And was back to around $500k in funding.
I asked him what happened.
'The new strategy looked way better. Higher RR. More advanced setups. My friend was making $100k a month with it.'
So what went wrong?
'It had way more rules. I kept missing entries. When I did enter, I'd get stopped out more often. My win rate dropped from 68% to 31%.'
He couldn't handle the losing streaks mentally.
Started revenge trading.
Broke his rules.
Blew the accounts.
All because he thought 'more advanced' meant better.
Here's what he didn't realize:
His original system was working.
$15-25k/month is life-changing money in most places.
But he saw someone else making more and assumed their system was superior.
So he abandoned what was proven.
For something shiny.
Now he's back passing challenges.
Using his old system.
The one that was 'too basic.'
If your strategy is consistently profitable - even if the returns aren't massive yet - DO NOT change it.
Just scale it.
More funding = more payouts with the same system.
You don't need a better strategy.
You need more capital and more patience.

@DenizTheTrader Its so true, you are right! 9 years to profitable for me, but it wasnt learning more about the markets. it was looking inward and developing self control that really turned it around

@Subhash98035662 I feel that pain, i call it the glass ceiling!! close to a payout or funded account and it flops.. but why? I think I know the answer. keep fighting! you got this
