The NEW CEO Of Twitter? Linda Yaccarino, a potential new CEO for Twitter, is an executive at NBC Universal and holds a position at the World Economic Forum. Last month, during an interview with Elon, Yaccarino encouraged him to allow advertisers to have influence on the platform. Musk disagreed, stating that it was wrong for advertisers to try to shape Twitter's content. Yaccarino persisted, requesting the reinstatement of an "influence council" for advertisers to regularly interact with Twitter's leadership. Musk expressed concern that this could lead to public backlash. Before her potential role as Twitter's CEO, Yaccarino had various positions at NBC Universal, including Chairman of Global Advertising and Partnerships. While I understand everyone’s concerns after reading the above, I want to point a few important points: - Working at WEF doesn’t immediately make you part of the ‘establishment’. Is every politician evil? Every banker greedy? - If done right, and without influencing free speech, communication between Twitter and advertisers is a positive. - Elon can fire a CEO if they don’t live up to his expectations Having said all this, do you think she’s the right person for the job?

Winners & losers from last nights Trump CNN town hall: 1. CNN won Purely from a business standpoint, CNN crushed it last night. They got tens of millions of eye balls. Especially 2 weeks after their direct competitor had a terrible week. Sometimes they forget they’re in the business of getting eye balls. 2. Undecided voters won Those who don’t have their minds made up, got a glimpse of what a Trump 2024 would look like right now. 3. America won For CNN, who has made it publicly clear that they can’t stand Trump, agreed to do a town hall with him knowing it may help his 2024 chances. We need more of this. More format where opposing ideas clash. 4. Trump won As a candidate, showman, competitor and a brand, he was able to sell himself that he still has it. America had to compare him to Biden. He showed strength, poise, willing to sell his points to the audience. And he negotiated the structure to his liking which is credit to him and his camp. 5. Kaitlan Collins If you support the President, you didn’t like how she challenged & disrespected the President. If you don’t like the President, you loved it when she challenged & debated the President. But regardless of it, a 31 year old future star shared the stage with the biggest personality in politics and media, and she held her own. She attracts a younger audience that mainstream media desperately needs. She’s got the making of a future superstar for CNN. 6. Podcasters & content creators won There were tens of opportunities for podcasters to create reaction videos or watch the town hall LIVE while giving their thoughts. This is a win for independent podcasters & creators. Losers: 1. FOX lost Fox had the opportunity to do a town hall and showcase a new talent/star to the world 2 weeks after the fall out with Tucker but they missed the opportunity. I’m sure Fox will do a town hall as well but it’s about timing. 2. Biden lost Has President Biden ever done a town hall in the opposing territory? Will he? America has watched Biden avoid any difficult situations where he could be asked tough questions while Trump is willing to talk to pretty much anyone. For those who respect leaders with brass, whether they like Trump or not, should respect him for willing to have tough conversations with the opposing side. That’s especially needed today with everything that’s going on with China, Russia, Ukraine and other foreign conflicts. 3. Democrat voters lost Roughly half of Democrats don’t want Biden to run for re-election. Biden bidding for re-election with a dismal approval rating hurts them against Trump. While Trump looked healthy and ready to work, Biden’s starting to look tired and ineffective as Commander in Chief. Having said that, it’s still too early to tell what will happen. Lots of moving parts and anything can happen. Even, Biden suddenly announcing not running for re-election.

@elonmusk The real problems come in a combination of factors. I’d happily show you and help train a system anytime. Show you all I know about 3-6-9 and 5th and 6th dimensions. It may take longer to where I see but it’s not good and regulation won’t work, the system just doesn’t see it.

The least bad solution to the AGI control problem that I can think of is to give every verified human a vote

@elonmusk AGI is only part of the problem, it’s pretty basic really. 10 years from now it gets scary. I wish I could talk about it or show you. It would highlight the true problems see. If you build now for those people problems I think it can be eased or even solved long term.
