Just want to say, I'm now 7 hours into Metroid Prime 4 and I think this game is incredible.
Of course I could nitpick, nothing is perfect. But so far, I would say this is my second favorite Metroid Prime, under 1.
Once I'm finished, I'm interested to hear everyone's criticisms.

Decided to play Metroid Prime 4 on my own time. Only been playing 30-45m spurts, but it's something. Why aren't people talking about this game? I'm enjoying it so much, it FEELS like I expect Prime to feel. I'm immersed.

Would love to do some music, sfx, and voice a character again. There was a clear separation once Montreal had the IP and I get it. But I've always been a collaborator. :)

@GeoffZanelli Anytime I hear about a score with alternate instrumentation I breathe a sigh of relief. With all the respect for hard working performers... so many more tools in the toolbox. Orchestras aren't going anywhere.

@therealcliffyb I really hope the same folks that say "it doesn't have gameplay" regarding Mixtape don't get wind of Dear Esther, Gone Home or Firewatch.

Not sure I understand certain gamers getting so defensive about people enjoying this title. It's like games like these can exist as well as the hardcore traditional ones you like, you know.
Think about Journey, for example. Some games are just about the experience.

Finished Mixtape. Yeah not "finished" so much as experienced it. Super light on "gameplay" more about the overall, well, *vibe*.
It knew what it was and delivered some of those feels on what it's like to be a teenager. Friends, uncertainty, etc...
I enjoyed it a lot!
