Later that year he ran a red light in South Carolina and led police on a high-speed car chase across multiple counties, which ended with Lloyd losing control of his vehicle and crashing into trees. He was held in a South Carolina jail for ten months before being transferred to a psychiatric facility. To compound everything, Lloyd's younger sister Madison, who had a small part in The Phantom Menace, died suddenly in her sleep in 2018 at the age of 26. His family released a statement asking for privacy and continued support, describing him as "still a kind and caring person." His current whereabouts and condition are not publicly known.
