And whilst we're on #FungiFriday, the star of my @FunnelwickLimb video earlier this week, golden spindles (Clavulinopsis fusiformis) from Calderdale, showing some considerable variation in form and color (and actually right on top of a site for beige coral, which I couldn't find!

And as it's the last @FunnelwickLimb #FungiFriday, a bonus scarlet caterpillar club (Cordyceps militaris), the only one I've seen this year. Very much an Old Mother Wra favorite fungus, that creates obedient zombies out of innocent young caterpillars...

My last into-the-woods 10K run whilst @FunnelwickLimb-ing! No Hallowe'en Mecha-Streisand in Darlington though. More fungi tomorrow, but here's some tour curiosities including Todmorden T. rex, Hebden's house of polari, Winchester's Jewish girlboss and Saffron Walden's crocuses.
