Not exactly how I wanted to show this game off, but please watch this video highlighting what features were planed in #FusionFall Legacy

I've been getting back into game dev as a hobby and my latest demo was recreating Recall from #ZeldaTearsOfTheKingdom using #GodotEngine
The visual effect isn't perfect, but I'm happy with how simple this was to implement using Godot 4
Pre-orders for the FusionFall Fanzine are now OPEN!✨
Featuring 20 artists and 23 different full-page illustrations, this zine is only for the true fans ! A bonus clear file was created as well.
Pre-Orders last from Dec. 9th - 23rd

@brodan100105 Yup, I'm planning an entire tutorial series to create a full 3d game in unity from scratch
No estimate on when I will release it mainly because I'm focusing on other projects but I still plan on it
New video coming tomorrow, it's a short highlight reel of some #FusionFall Legacy features I want to highlight
Some of them I've already shown off but some are new
I love having an organized inventory in games, so I added some sorting options as a quality of life change to the inventory in #FusionFall Legacy
If I had more time I would have added more organizational options and polished inventory a little more
So I didn't show off much of the UI or nano powers in the feature video, mainly cause they didn't change much.
Would anybody be interested in a pretty short part 2, probably without much voiceover, showing them off?
@graceful_thalia Legacy's development was never "fast" but August of 2018 was when we ended pic-of-the-day and decided to stop releasing public updates until the game was further along
We unfortunately made no real progress for the rest of 2018 after that decision
@JMistical@ytpanman14 Yup this is our Debug Land, I used this area for testing and it doesn't really have anything interesting to explore. But in the process of developing the mission system, I gave all the NPCs in the area a cool little mission arc
A lot of time was spent getting the movement in #FusionFall Legacy to feel just right
The player was able to move 360 degrees independent of the camera
Hours were spent getting the jump to feel crisp
Jump pads could launch the player at an angle

@tazerrlaser@ytpanman14 Most of the beginning areas and features were completely finished (multiplayer still had a long ways to go)
We also finished all the underlying systems which allowed us to add items and missions in mass numbers, but never got the chance to properly import all of them
