海賊版の問題を指摘して「外国人とは分かり合えない」と嘆いている日本のクリエイターさんがいるけど、この状況、ツンデレヒロインの出てくる「すれ違い系」ラブコメと同じなんですよ。 海賊版について、海外からは 「買いたいから売ってくれ」 という声があるのに、日本側は 「どうせ海賊版で読むんだろ」 と返してしまっている。 これでは話がまったく噛み合っていません。 今、海外から届いている声は 「正規で買いたいファン」と 「海賊版で済ませる盗人」という全く別の声です。 それを一緒くたにして 「外国人とは分かり合えない」 と結論づけてしまうのは、さすがに違う。 日本のクリエイターと海外のファンというのは、誰がどう見てもお似合いの相思相愛カップルなのですが、嫌われていると思い込んだ主人公（クリエイター）がヒロイン（海外ファン）を突き放すという、すれ違いラブコメのような構図になっています。

別にアニメ好きではないし、見るときは公式のストリーミングサービスで見てるから心当たりはないんだけど、日本人のそういう考え方、めちゃくちゃ時代遅れだよなって感じる。すぐ「盗む」ことと比較するけど、アニメや漫画みたいな作品は、間接的にでもより多くの人が存在を知れば知るほど収益が生まれるものだからね。見られない、話題にならないより、一人でも多く興味持ってもらった方が全然いいと思うんだけど…あくまで自分の意見だけど…。 こういうくだらないことでキーキーうるさいから、日本のエンタメ業界が韓国に負けてきたんじゃないかって思う。このままで終わりたくないんだったら、もう少し世界に目を覚ました方がいいよ。

If they have a problem, they are going to find a solution that makes sense to them, when they say that they want things sold to them they are being genuine on that. And answers like "You should wait XX years" or "Suck it up" won't work.

@VGS_1919 @sammybythesky @AOIKEN72 In the west that's not the case because of fair use, which in itself is a gray area. But there have been cases where creators ask for take downs like pewdiepie and firewatch. It's very rare and it's usually a terrible PR move.
