Today, I want to share something personal. Today was one of those days that reminded me how hard it can be to chase a dream when you come from a middle-class family. I was shortlisted for the Amazon Summer ML Internship exam. I was excited. I had prepared for it. But unfortunately... I couldn't even attempt the exam. Not because I wasn't ready. Not because I didn't study enough. But because my laptop camera has been broken for years. I usually use my phone as an external webcam through software, and that's how I've attended interviews and online meetings. But today's exam didn't allow external camera software. And just like that... The opportunity was gone. For a few minutes, I just sat there. I felt disappointed. Not because I failed the exam. Because I never even got the chance to try. The truth is... This isn't the first time my hardware has stopped me. I still use an old laptop that struggles to run many tools and projects. Sometimes I can't even test ideas because my system isn't compatible. I still use an old phone with very little storage and a camera that isn't good enough for the content I want to create. I've wanted to start creating content for a long time. Most of the videos I've recorded were on my friends' phones because they wanted to help me. I'm really grateful to them. But they have their own lives too. They can't always be there. Sometimes... You have the dream. You have the skills. You have the discipline. But you don't have the ecosystem or the tools to start. And that's okay. I'll be honest... Even writing this makes me feel a little ashamed. I kept asking myself, "What will people think?" "Will they judge me?" Then I realized something. This is my reality. Why should I hide it? I'm not ashamed of where I started. I'm proud that I'm still moving forward. Feeling disappointed won't fix my laptop. Feeling sorry for myself won't change my situation. So instead... I'll wake up tomorrow. I'll go to the gym. I'll go for my run. I'll write code. I'll build TweetGem. I'll build Fuora Social. I'll learn. I'll help my family. And I'll continue chasing the life I dream about. Every single day, I'm trying to become a better version of myself. Not because life is easy. But because I only get one chance to live it. One day, if everything works out, people will only see the success. They'll see the products. The followers. The customers. Maybe the awards. But I want this post to stay here as proof. Proof that the journey didn't start with a perfect setup. It started with an old laptop. An old phone. A broken camera. And a dream that refused to die. If you've read this far... Thank you.
