@_lavenderhxze_ EMC activates their partner based off rarity. its not exactly strength. So if you have a 3 star yao it would go to yao. Who ever seems stronger it goes to and gear is only a very small factor. i hate the system cause you can't manually pick the partner.

I'm not a ZZZ doomer or anything, but man I don't think it's even possible to argue that the game is losing its unique aesthetic. You can tell immediately from S1 poster that the game takes place in somewhat modern setting and that each character's design is inspired by their profession or fashion sense. A cop, a maid, a modern gal, a butler. Meanwhile the only thing I can tell by looking at S3 characters is that they're from a gacha game. I cannot tell what region they're from, what their profession is, nothing. Hell man, replace Belle and Wise with Genshin's protagonists and no one would bat an eye.
