@FutOffsides @mpengelly85 Why is there body behind Foden then on that red line?

@Ozgun_Ozer It is certainly more than enough to make a decision. Foden was offside both before and after the ball was kicked. It's not a matter of discrepancy between frames, because he was NEVER onside.
English

@FutOffsides Which means, the frame rate and the shutter speed of the video is not enough to make a decision.
So why bother to share invalid proof of something?
(If you say it's traffic, I will respect that.)
Best wishes 🙏🏻👍

@GeorgeG32574076 @mpengelly85 The red line is for Foden, it has nothing to do with the defender. And no, his shoulder is not further back than his foot, that's just parallax.
English

@FutOffsides @mpengelly85 But the shoulder (red line) is further back than the foot (blue line) and yes where the red line is is not a handball therefore can be scored with
English

@FutOffsides @mpengelly85 It should be his shoulder as that is further back than his foot..
English

@Ozgun_Ozer Foden is coming back from a previous run through on goal, in the previous frame he is even more offside. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt.
English

@FutOffsides Sorry but,
In the image you shared the ball is in motion which shows that you picked the wrong moment to draw the line.
English

@NorfolkEagle I don't think it did, but it doesn't matter. Even if the ball had touched Merino on its way through, Guessand would still be offside. Deflections don't play oppnents onside.

English

@FutOffsides I thought it came off the Arsenal 23 first on its way through, so is that still off side?
English

@FutOffsides Since when did the lines go from the defenders head and he ball has already left the pass. It’s corrupt and incompetence. We know the rules and so should you
English

@mpengelly85 Because English version of SAOT's graphics are ridiculously bad. They use super thick lines, they don't show the kickpoint and they don't move the image in line so we can actually see the offside.
It does get calls wrong from time to time, but this wasn't one of them.
English

@FutOffsides ok, thank you. Why haven't the showed the digital image 'down the line' angle? That would perhaps make it clearer. The image they've used makes Foden look well onside.
English

@mpengelly85 It is not, that's just due to the perspective of that angle.
English

@mpengelly85 In the actual image it's also his foot, not his shoulder.
English

@FutOffsides Why is the digital image showing the foot as the offside line here, whereas in the actual image its the shoulder?

@EslamMo741 Once projected to the ground, it becomes apparent that his foot is further back.
