Here’s where I ended May with my @Tradeify accounts. Two of these accounts are approaching a year old and have turned a roughly $500 investment into more than $25,000 in payouts. It wasn’t done with huge size, gambling, or chasing home runs. It was done with discipline, patience, risk management, and a repeatable system. These are my slow-grind accounts. I trade them the same way I trade my personal brokerage account. Prop firms are an incredible tool. They allow traders to gain leverage and exposure with limited capital. The problem is many people treat them like lottery tickets, which leads to bad habits and blown accounts. These accounts are now at the point where they’ll likely be moved to live capital after the next payout. I also wanted to show something important: You can filter data and only show the winners, or you can show everything. When I remove the filters and include the losing accounts, the results are still strong because the focus has never been on hitting home runs. The focus has always been on protecting capital and staying in the game. Slow and steady wins. Then scale the process across multiple accounts and let consistency do the heavy lifting. The goal isn’t one big payday. The goal is getting paid month after month while never risking ruin.

Couldn’t agree more. Prop firms are a tool, not the end goal. Build consistency with prop accounts first, then use payouts to scale what’s already working into a brokerage account. I’d even say run prop accounts in parallel to your live account to scale up at times. In the end, it’s all about risk management, protecting your mental capital, and preserving the ability to keep trading tomorrow.

Live accounts > Funded Prop Firm Accounts Let me explain Yes, prop firms are a great tool. Yes, I have partnerships with firms (real ones use code JDUN) Yes, I’ve gotten payouts from firms (biggest ever is $50,000 from Apex) But what do I always say on stream? They’re a TOOL, not the endgame I’d rather all of my students used prop firms the right way, funded their live accounts, and never used code JDUN again if they are able to grow their LIVE account. I want my students to have freedom. This is the same reason I only take 1-2 trades a day MAX on stream I encourage my students to protect their capital A lot of streamers call out a million trades and blow their followers accounts so they spend more I do my best to advocate for DOD and smart / safe trading. That’s why we win almost every single day. Discipline and patience pays. Keep the long term vision and use prop firms for what they are.. a USEFUL TOOL

I've never been so pissed about catching 55pts on $NQ in my life. I've been hesitant to look for the bigger moves down, because recently the V shape days have been torching shorts. 30-50pts has been a nice sweet spot for me. I'm sure I'm not alone here today, +700pts, practically straight downward. absolutely insane.

If you didn’t fully capitalize on the last two months, don’t beat yourself up. The market rewards consistency, not FOMO. @jtrader I use both of those tools after a rough session. Some times you need a break, sometimes it’s just taking it slow and small and letting g wins stack. Take a day or two to reset and build back stronger than ever 😉

I Realized I wasn't competing against other traders. I was competing against my own impulses.

People called it “luck” when I passed my first prop account in 2 days and got payouts on my first 3 accounts. What they didn’t see was the 10 years beforehand. Profitability isn’t about finding a magic setup. It’s about risk management, self-control, and building habits that protect you when emotions take over. The results came quickly. The preparation took a decade.

Becoming profitable is so simple, but not easy. Most of the people already know what to do, but they are so insecure to actually sacrifice those 2+ years to achieve it.
