Iman Shumpert calls out Bam for always bringing up his 83-point game
“Don’t bring up the 80 no more. You don’t bring that up. That was a regular season game vs a tanking team.”

Charles Barkley says he believes in spanking kids
“People talking about you can’t yell at your kids. Yes, hell you can yell at your kids. You’ll whoop their ass too … That’s why these kids are crazy. I’m not going around telling people to beat their kids, but I think if you don’t spank your kids and discipline them, they turn into some of these brats that we got today. I’m not here for child abuse, but how are kids gonna know they’re doing something wrong? First of all, you can’t rationalize with kids, they’re dumber than rocks. They don’t know they’re doing stuff wrong. But when you spank them, that gets the message across because they don’t want that. You can blast me on social media. You guys know I don’t do social media. I don’t ever read any comments. I don’t care what you think. Y’all can kiss my big Black a–,”

Gordon Hayward says Bam Adebayo scoring 83 isn’t great for the league and doesn’t feel legitimate
“I think Bam is one of the best two-way players in the league at his position, but he’s not a scorer, right? So for him to break Kobe’s record, I don’t think it’s great for the league. I think it kind of highlights how they’re already struggling. It kind of feels like a pickup game when you’re watching. And for him to shoot 43 free throws and 22 threes, when that’s not what he does, it almost feels like… and again, the Wizards too. With all these teams tanking, it kind of makes it feel not legit, I guess, is what I would say.”

@parrybreaker@ZeroContextNBA@olympicbean 😂Bruh this is basketball, not a business Ethics class. You’re still just saying you didn’t like how Bam got some of the points and trying to make it sound profound now as Edgar Allen Poe😭
But whatever helps you sleep at night gramps! Be careful you just had hip surgery!!!
@FutureHendrix65@ZeroContextNBA@olympicbean That’s the embellished take from an emotional reader.
Better put, the integrity behind Bam’s 83 was more gifted in orchestrated help, than earned thru fair competition. It was more entertainment sold, than witnessing a competitor carry a weak team in their prime.
@parrybreaker@ZeroContextNBA@olympicbean Yeah I can articulate your dog shit take. Your take is that Kobe’s 81 is more meaningful because the Lakers were down, “had a weaker roster”😂, and needed every bit of it to beat a terrible Raptors team. While Bam’s 83 wasn’t meaningful because Miami was already up.
@FutureHendrix65@ZeroContextNBA@olympicbean Curing and emotes just shows your growing manic and confused. Nothing changed, all that information collectively builds context, but you’re too narrow to understand it.
Kobe Bryant will never be erased from the history books. As much as modern fans would like to try.
He accomplished way too much with a plethora of legendary moments and is way too respected within NBA circles.
That 81 point game isn’t even a top 10 achievement of his. TBH.
