🌊Torrenueva Costa, a small municipality located in the province of Granada, launches new #smartbins on its way to becoming a more sustainable and cleaner tourist destination. The new units will help to keep waste inside, preventing it from overflowing and ending up in the ocean.

Windblown litter from overflowing bins is ending up in the ocean. In fact, recent studies estimate that about 8 million metric tons of plastic end up in the ocean annually, an alarmingly high figure that we need to deal with. Make this #WorldOceansDay count. #containedwaste

Summer is approaching and the city of Le Perreux has chosen to implement our waste management solution by placing #smartbins in the banks of the River Marne. Our presence on the French market is rapidly growing, with today over 50 French cities using our solution every day.

Our Spanish team worked hard this week to deploy new #smartbins in Las Rozas, one of the largest towns located in the northwest of Madrid. We hope Ayuntamiento de Las Rozas de Madrid can now start reducing their collections to become a more sustainable and cleaner town.

✈️Become a carbon-neutral airport by placing #smartbins in the most high foot fall areas such as security points and terminals. Bigbelly bins will provide a cleaner, safer and more comfortable passenger experience and at the same time will reduce collections up to 75%.

Great to see Cathaoirleach of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Una Power disposing of her Pizza Box responsibly today at the launch of the DLR Pizza Bin Beta Project. We customised the opening of the Bigbelly bin to allow for pizza boxes to fit into the bin.
