I started this account to follow one question seriously: What happens when intelligence gets a body? Here I’ll track humanoid robotics through data, observations, product shifts, and long-term signals. Less hype. More pattern recognition. Watching the future take form.

Figure 03 just showed the world humanoids sorting parcels on livestream. China Post is now putting the same use case onto a real state-owned postal line. Same job. Different deployment speed. This is where the humanoid labor market begins.

Boarded my first bullet train in China today. The train is doing 350 km/h … about 220 mph. From inside, you can’t feel it. The coffee on the tray doesn’t move & landscape outside is just gone. Last October, two of these trains passed each other on a test line at a combined speed of 896 km/h. That’s faster than most commercial airliners cruise at. In 2024 alone, China built over 3,100 km of new railway. Its high-speed network is now nearly double the rest of the world’s combined. Currently I m mind blown by the speed at which China is growing

Figure is no longer just moving boxes. It is doing the job like a skilled operator. It checks all six sides, spots damage, makes a judgment, then passes the package on. Vision → reasoning → action.

The future of labor arrive through the boring jobs first. In China, a robot is already picking orders, opening fridges, labeling, packing, sealing bags, and handing deliveries to couriers. Repetitive labor is becoming cheaper, programmable, and scalable.

@cixliv Mecha sports just got real. Not only robots competing anymore — humans in the cockpit make it feel way more intense.

You guys aren't going to believe this (I had to double check it was real). Unitree has made an actual mecha like Gundam, the GD01.

Pacific Rim suddenly feels less fictional. But the real use case may start far from movies: factories, construction sites, mining, rescue, and heavy-duty work. One day, learning to pilot a mecha may be like learning to operate a crane or excavator.

Just another day at the office

ExoActor turns video models into a motion imagination layer for humanoid robots. A robot first watches the world like a third-person human: full-body posture, object positions, environment layout. Then it imagines the task before executing it. baai-agents.github.io/ExoActor/

This is the strange prison of today’s AI. It can speak about the world, but it does not experience it. Speech-to-text is still just subtitles. The escape begins when robots enter society and learn from reality directly.
