The decision comes as Gardner-Webb adds women’s flag football and women’s acrobatics & tumbling. At the US Open press conference Venus Williams appeared emotional and shed some quiet tears, which was quite touching. I also felt tears in my eyes watching it. It was the first time I've seen Venus with her guard down during a press conference, and it feels quite impactful.
