@CharlieDrugby Yes I agree…so long as he’s on the pitch regularly rather than in the treatment room. But great carrier with bags of top level experience. One day it would just be nice to be ‘surprised’ by a signing rather than it being headlined for weeks. But I’m a grumpy old man…

@BathBytes I think I would say it’s relevant for bad tackles etc (possibly) but that’s just straight up thuggery and should have no place in a rugby match. I would think the authorities would want a very clear message that this stuff is not acceptable

@Fuzzy_man74 Good behaviour should not have any relevance nor should pleading guilty! Its there for the world to see so there is no reason anyone would plead not guilty! Showing remorse is also only there for them to get a reduction as well, its a ludicrous system

Had a couple of goes at it and still gets low entry level! 4 weeks is a farce. Once again the powers that be let the game down and will once again the game is made to look completely amateur

Oscar Jégou banned for four weeks for "reckless contact with the eye(s)" v Scotland. Independent disciplinary panel found his "conduct warranted a red card." Low-end entry point of 6 weeks, partly because "no injury caused to the victim." 2 weeks for good conduct and record.
