We are approaching major inflection points across software engineering, creative arts, and entertainment. The specifics may be debatable, but the direction isn’t. Don’t get lost in the timeline, focus on having a plan before you need one.

Pre-crime meets Big Brother: The Dutch government has proposed new legislation allowing the police to monitor and collect citizens’ online activity without any suspicion of a criminal offence, so they can target those they think might be rabble-rousers at protests/rallies to *prevent* public disturbances. For now, this includes ''only'' public posts, but the responsible minister has already expressed he wants to extend it to private messages and group chats. Totally normal of course, in a liBEraL DEmOcRaCY.

@gmeinersYT Also after you die the spectator view of other players stutters and glitches rather than being smooth, making it actually quite hard to watch.

One of my biggest gripes w/ Marathon is still how INSANELY rough around the edges it feels. This stuttering on objects happens WAY too much and gives you away. And the movement just feels so bad IMO. Constantly bouncing off things you should mantle. Mantling backwards. Mantle doesn't work unless you keep looking the direction you are mantling. Utility wheels don't work. Really hope stuff like this gets fixed.

£1.85 million of taxpayer money has just gone into a government “Fuel Finder” app. An app that, literally already exists. There are loads online. Meanwhile, we’re teetering on the edge of a real fuel crisis, and this does nothing to fix it. Does this actually solve anything, or are we just throwing cash around?

In a pathetic, last ditch attempt to make it look like the sordid Gov are "saving people money" during the day @Ed_Miliband @RachelReevesMP are going to be rolled out to promote a new "Fuel Finder" page on the Government website that they claim will save people £40 a year

“You’re making an extra £20 million a day while businesses go to the wall, and the government’s answer is to tell people to download an app to check petrol prices.” You couldn’t make it up. Labour’s James Murray replies tells you everything about modern government. #FuelPrices #IranWar

🚨LABOUR MP EXPOSED: "BRITISH PEOPLE WANT MORE MASS MIGRATION" – THEN DODGES THE ONLY QUESTION THAT MATTERS! 😡🤨 Rachel Blake Refuses To Name An Acceptable Number, Snaps "That Is Not A Sensible Question" 🤯 Watch this jaw-dropping Newsnight clash between Jacob Rees-Mogg and slippery Labour MP Rachel Blake. Rees-Mogg demands zero tolerance on illegal small boat crossings and real deterrence to stop the invasion. Blake hits back, claiming he does not speak for the British people and insists we thrive on being tolerant and welcoming. When directly challenged on what number of migrants is acceptable, she squirms, refuses to answer, and astonishingly declares, "That is not a sensible question." What an insult! Asking for a clear limit on immigration is the most basic and sensible question of all, one every pro-migration politician should be forced to answer honestly. This exchange reveals the truth: Labour still does not understand the British public's deep frustration with uncontrolled migration, or worse, they simply do not care. Blake preaches compassion while ignoring the real damage, mass migration is destroying our country, making streets increasingly unsafe for women and our daughters, and overwhelming communities. Absolutely clueless and out of touch.

When the fuel crisis really hits, Britain will be hit harder than anyone. We’re sleepwalking into a major national problem, and instead of fixing it, they’ve built an app to tell us where it’s slightly cheaper. We’re taxed at 55% on fuel. They could lower prices overnight. They won’t.
Concerned Citizen@BGatesIsaPyscho

🚨🇬🇧 Meanwhile in the Britain “Diesel has gone up even more than petrol - a 27% rise - people are seriously worried they can’t afford to drive their kids to school” UK Government Minister - “We’ve created a new app to allow people to find the cheapest Fuel locally to them”

🚨🇬🇧 WATCH: FUEL PRICES SURGE - GOVERNMENT RESPONSE RAISES EYEBROWS In a live BBC interview, it was stated diesel prices have risen even faster than petrol, with a 27% increase. “People are seriously worried they can’t afford to drive their kids to school.” In response, a UK Government minister said a new app has been created to help people find the cheapest fuel locally. With prices soaring - is this really the best they can offer?

Ed Miliband has decreed that imported electricity will count as being as 'clean' as wind and solar even when it comes from burning coal and gas, in a move critics have branded "cheating" and "bonkers". dailysceptic.org/2026/03/30/mil…

I wish people would genuinely fuck off a great deal more! I’ve got 3 dogs….if you don’t like dogs then avoid the countryside and stay away from dog owners homes! Dogs and cats (I have 2 of them too!) are amazing for health and wellbeing and reduce stress, dogs also aid exercise….also if yon want to write a comment about why I’m wrong….then to save me time FUCK OFF IN ADVANCE!

Q1 2026 has seen the number of large fireball events (50+ witnesses) roughly double compared to the five-year average. Three meteorite recoveries in ten days. A fragment through a roof in Texas. Sonic booms across Ohio, Europe, and the Pacific Northwest. The total fireball count is only marginally up. What's changed is the size of what's arriving. The increase is concentrated around the Anthelion radiant, asteroidal material on Earth-like orbits entering at low relative velocity. Slower entry means longer visibility, wider coverage, more sonic booms, and more material surviving to the ground. Recovered specimens from Ohio and Germany are both rare achondrites, eucrite and diogenite respectively, originating from differentiated asteroids in the Vesta family. Despite belonging to the same broad meteorite class, their orbital trajectories were separated by over 98 degrees. The American Meteor Society (AMS) is calling for a national all-sky camera network and lab analysis of recovered specimens. One thing is clear, we need better instrumentation. When a 7-ton asteroid exploded over Valley City in Ohio on March 17 with the equivalent force of 250 tons of TNT, the only AMS-affiliated all-sky camera in the state was offline.

“Project Hail Mary” brought in a heavenly $54.5 million over the weekend. There have been hits in 2026 such as “Scream 7” and “Hoppers,” but “Project Hail Mary” is shaping up to be the year’s first true blockbuster, having already earned $164.3 million domestically. bit.ly/4bFH9FJ
