The siege continues to suffocate us, and we remain displaced—moving from one place to another in search of safety that simply does not exist. Before anything else, I sincerely apologize if I have ever said or done anything unintentionally that may have caused discomfort. You have truly been like family to us—standing by our side in the most difficult times. Some time ago, I launched a humanitarian relief campaign to support my large extended family, and I continue this effort today because our needs have not ended—in fact, they are growing more urgent each day. We are now 21 people, across four families, all depending on this support: My parents and younger siblings, including my sister Zein, who suffers from cerebral palsy and requires constant care; my infant brother Eid Basheer, who is only six months old; and my siblings Heba, Sanaa, Sineen, and Mohammed. My brother Shihab’s family, including his wife and their two young children, Ismail and Ghadeh. My sister Diana’s family, along with her baby Malik. And my sister Halima’s family, who has recently given birth to her newborn son, Hamza—adding to the responsibility under these already harsh conditions. This ongoing campaign aims to provide the most basic necessities—shelter, food, and essential needs—for 21 people living under extremely harsh and inhumane conditions, with severe shortages of everything.
